The First Avenger: Captain America Movie Synopsis

After the great success of Ironman and Hulk movies, another member of the Avengers will come to light as Captain America soars in the near future. Although none of the cast have been revealed here is its synopsis:

The First Avenger: Captain America

"Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment... Operation: Rebirth."

"After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the 'Super-Soldier Serum' and bombarded by 'vita-rays.' Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program. Three months later, he was given his first assignment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and and battle savvy, Captain America has continued his war against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and leader of the Avengers."

The First Avenger: Captain America is slotted for a 2011 release.

Brisingr is Out and I Bought Copy

Although the book is out for ages it took so long for it to be released in our area. As a matter of fact it is not yet out at any book stores here at all. I was able to have an advance copy for I have some acquaintances in my favorite bookstore.

I was easily delighted when I asked for the arrival date of the book and was told that it was on stock but not yet for sale. I made my most sorrowful expression and clerk asked if I should like to have an advance copy, which I never hesitated to confirm with a resounding, "Yes!"

Happy for having the very first copy of Brisingr in our area, I immediately planned to share it with my closest friend. That's when my acquaintance told me to make it a secret as other will have to demand for their copies to which is not yet ready for sale... I said that I will shush up but still can't help my self sharing it with my friends.

Synopsis

Oaths Sworn . . . loyalties tested . . . forces collide.

Following the colossal battle against the Empire's warriors on the Burning Plains, Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have narrowly escaped with their lives. Still there is more at hand for the Rider and his dragon, as Eragon finds himself bound by a tangle of promises he may not be able to keep.

First is Eragon's oath to his cousin Roran: to help rescue Roran's beloved, Katrina, from the evil clutches of the Ra'zac. But Eragon owes his loyalty to others, too. The Varden are in desperate need of his talents and strength - as are the elves and dwarves. When unrest claims the rebels and danger strikes from every corner, Eragon must make choices - choices that take him across the Empire and beyond, choices that may lead to unimagined sacrifice.

Rich with a thoughtful examination of Eragon's maturing psyche, "Brisingr" explores how Eragon must come to terms with his role as a leader and the moral obligations that weigh heavily upon his young shoulders as a Dragon Rider."
