I am very excited about this first debate between Obama and McCain. I am really getting into this election more than I ever have in my life so far. This election has made me fall in love with politics with really learning about this system and to care about issues. Like I have wrote in other posts democrat Barack Obama is who I will be voting for he is my man. I am hoping this first debate is going to be helpful to him to prove himself to the undecided voters. I surprised that republican John McCain is doing so well in the polls. I think for sure Sarah Palin has helped him. If he didn?t choose her I think he would be ranked lower in the polls right now. Then with that thought, it got me thinking if George W Bush was running again would he actually win. You know what even with all the destruction he did to the United States with his not so smart decisions. I really do think people would still vote for him along with that the craziest thing of all he would win.
Who ever decided that this was a great day of the week to have a debate was not smart at all. I am excited about this debate but what I am not thrilled about the day that it is on. The Friday night debate no one is going to be home to watch since it is the most popular day of the week that people go out. News coverage of it wont be as much then when Monday roles around whatever was said in the debate will almost be forgotten. This absolutely the worst day of the week to have something like this. Especially if they want young people to get involved they are not going to be home watching this on Friday night. Even me being the biggest fan of wanting it watch this debate does make me wonder if I should go out or watch it. But being that I am blogger that wants to be informed I will make time to watch it. The one good thing about young people they watch youtube so that should help with the people to watch the next day. As I am writing this in the morning is talk that this debate might get delayed so things could change yet.

This is a breaking news story it is rumored that Clay Aiken is going to admit he is gay in People Magazine. I surprised by this news not really but I had a feeling he was gay but was not sure entirely. I cant believe I am admitting this but I was a claymate for a short moment. I would search message boards, news, and so much more. I am still very much a fan of his I probably always will be since he has such a beautiful singing voice. I think it is so sweet with how much the claymates loved him while following him to every show. While doing that they created claymate friendships with each other that is a special thing. To me it does not matter if he is gay or not I still think he is one of the most talented singing male voices. My all time favorite song he sang was Bridge Over Trouble Water. Not the recorded version but the way he sang it live. He is one those singers sounds better live than hearing him singing on CD. That is such a wonderful special gift to have such great singing voice as he does.
I do wonder if the claymates will still be fans of his. They had to know on some level he was gay with that possibility in the mind. The true Measure of a Fan is being a fan no matter what. If they leave him now just because he is gay they never were true fans to begin with. Clay Aiken probably needs that support from them more than ever before. To admit that he is gay to the world is not easy at all. He said he is doing this for his newborn son to live an honest life. I have more respect for Clay now than I ever did in the past. It makes me like him even more as a person because he is being truthful on who he truly is. The popularity of blogging is growing it is almost as everyone has a blog of some kind now. It is amazing in how much blogs have become part all of our daily lives. Like for me I read blogs everyday even more than visiting other online websites. With so many blogs on the internet right now I wonder how many will actually stick around for long term I really dont know. I have a feeling a large number of them will not last for the reason that it takes time along with work having a blog. However, the bloggers that do stay online have a wonderful future with so many people wanting to share thoughts, opinions, reviews, ads and products.
I think the blogs as well as bloggers have a great potential in the future with the importance of having a blog is now becoming part of our society. With more people reading blogs on computers, phones as well as other online devices will mean even more readers. Which will create more ways of promoting them along with additional opportunities of making money with blog through ads, sponsors, reviews and blog jobs. Even though blogging is not about making money but we do put much time, work into them to keeps the blog active. I will never stop having a blog it will be a lifelong thing for me. Because I love writing having a blog is perfect for me I get to do what I love that is more important than any money made from it.
