It finally Came...
Several weeks ago, I hosted a giveaway that was sponsored by uprinting.com. Yeah, one of my sponsors for the Brain Fried Network.
As a blogger who is sponsored, I was blessed by also receiving the same giveaway as the winner (Saintvi).
So, I thought I'd look for a picture that fit well with a 49er themed room...
but, can't copy 49er and NFL logos...some legal thing ya know...
But, I found a site:
www.talkephotography.com and e-mailed them about one picture I wanted...
The Golden Gate Bridge. I received a response from Pete, the guy who's site it is, and who has an amazing talent at both photography and art.
If you're big on travel blogs, he's got a great one...in fact, I hope the guys at tripcrazed pick Pete up...(I forwarded them his information).
Anyways, Pete and I talked a bit, and he blessed me with the picture to have Uprinting.com print onto stretched canvas, and then they'd ship it. THANKS PETE, I'm Humbled at your generosity!
Here's the saga of the package arrival - and thanks to all who made it possible!
This took a couple of weeks, but we got it done, and the packaged arrived yesterday.
Now, Chatting with Saintvi about her print (
see this post), I was warned on the level of packaging that it would take... here's the second stage...
Now, working in inventory and logistics for over 15 years, I've seen packaging of all types - and this one made me really impressed. Although it was still a challenge to get to that center package within the package...
And yet, even after all that unwrapping, there was one more layer to peel away...
Yep, that last bit of paper...and then viola! Presto! and here it is!!!
Expect more giveaways soon from this cool sponsor...and more information about them...
Until later, I'm off to work on the room that will become known as the 49er room.
